Among many electronic devices, my favorite one is my laptop. I never
thought it would become such an important thing in my life, but when I started
using it I realized that I could not live without it. My laptop is quite small and its
color is grey; generally, it is not very attractive but it works effectively. The main
reason I use the laptop is that I am doing a part-time job online, so I have to access
to the Internet everyday. I also use the laptop when I need to talk to my friends or
when I have to check e-mail. Moreover, when I get tired of this fast-paced life,
laptop is a means of entertainment; I can listen to music, play some games, etc. all
by my laptop. All in all, laptop is an electronic device which has made my life
better.

In about 150 words, write a passage about the advantages and disadvantages of
using computer technology in our life.

Computer technology has brought back many conveniences to our life. In
education, computer technology can be used to present the lessons with interesting
illustrations. Whereas, this technology functions as an useful mean in the field of
communication. Distance or weather condition can be no obstacle to keep contact
among friends. Also, the technology is useful in dealing with information. Internet
can provide a great source of information, then with computer, it can be stored and
used in various ways. However, computer technology has its dark sides. Computer
technology is so attractive that users become addicted. People may depend on it
too much to search and find the solution to whatever they do. Even when free,
users may wandering on the internet, only to find something interesting, instead of
going out and help others. In sum, it is advisable to use computer technology
appropriately considering its good and bad points.
